Fillers in Atlanta and Alpharetta are used to provide immediate correction of volume loss or wrinkles. This treatment is quick, painless, with no recovery that can plump the lips, re-volumize or lift the cheeks, and remove dark circles under the eyes.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments that aim to reverse signs of aging such as wrinkles and loss of volume. As we age, the skin loses its elasticity, which results in lines, shadows, and creases on the face. With the use of dermal fillers, volume can be restored, wrinkles can be reduced, and contours can be reshaped.

This 38 y/o female patient came into the office bothered by the bags under her eyes because she felt they made her look older and more tired than she feels. So, she decided to try out some under eye filler for the first time and was amazed at her results! Her before picture was taken when she first arrived at the office and her after picture was taken before she even walked out of the door! She was so excited to see that a quick and easy procedure took years off of her face in minutes!

  • Reversible (if complications arise or undesired effect – an enzyme can be injected to melt away the HA product

  • Restylane Defyne – Smooths away laugh lines and restores chin and jawline volume

WHERE CAN FILLERS BE USED

Fillers - real patient
Actual Patient of Dr. Philip K. Robb Jr.

Fillers are an extremely useful tool in providing subtle changes to our facial features. These treatments offer immediate change with no recovery time.

The tear trough is the area beneath the eyes that can be puffy or a deep trough or both. Dark circles also can be treated by fillers to smooth the transition between the cheek and the eye.

The midface can be treated if desired to raise the cheeks and restore the vibrancy of youth.

The lips can be enhanced using fillers as well creating a full and well defined upper and lower lip.

Dermal fillers, just as the name implies, can be used anywhere in the skin to fill in wrinkles, scars, or lines that are unwanted and detract from your appearance. The nose can be smoothed using filler techniques as can the temporal areas which tends to lose volume and appear more hollow as we age.

Very comfortable environment

5 Stars

I just had lip filler done for the first time, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! Dani is wonderful! She spent a ton of time talking to me before hand about what to expect and the process. I was anxious about having it done because I don’t want to look “overdone”, I was wanting a natural look to enhance my face. Dani delivered! She has an eye for detail and she is very knowledgeable, which eased my fears. She made sure my lips were numb before starting so I hardly felt anything, just little pinches here and there. For someone who hates needles that is a big deal! Thanks to Dani I know what to expect for the next day to two weeks in the recovery process and how to take care of my lips to get the best results. Everyone at the office is so friendly, making it a very comfortable environment. I can’t say enough good about Robb Facial Plastic Surgery, they will exceed your expectations.

Ideal Candidates

If you want to get rid of your deepening age lines, you may be a good candidate for fillers. You may be recommended for these injectable treatments if your skin starts to lose its volume, resulting in sagging cheeks and hollow areas on your face.

It is important that you are not allergic to lidocaine and other ingredients of dermal fillers. Having a positive outlook and realistic expectations is key.

Your Dermal Fillers Consultation

During your consultation, you will be asked about your concerns and your aesthetic goals. A physical examination of your skin will be conducted. A review of your medical history will be done to assess your compatibility and any potential risk factors. It will be important to bring up all medications and supplements you are currently taking.

The Procedure

The process is quite straightforward and involves injecting the dermal fillers into the targeted areas. A precise amount is injected into the skin for a more natural appearance. Depending on the number of areas being treated and the wrinkle depth, multiple injections and syringes may be required to attain the best outcome.

Aftercare

No downtime or recovery time is needed after dermal filler injections. Most patients are able to get back to normal activities right after their injectable filler treatments.

Patients may experience mild bruising and swelling on the treated areas; these may take a few days to subside. Temporary lumps may also be noticed around the injection sites. You may use over the counter arnica supplements or cool packs to alleviate this.

Cost of Fillers

The cost of fillers depends on the type of injectable used for your specific target areas. The overall price will be impacted by the number of injections used for your wrinkle-reduction treatment.
