The Importance of Regular Skin Treatments
So why is it important to have regular skin treatments?
Keeping your skin regularly treated keeps your skin:
- regulating pore size
- protecting from the sun
- preventing cancer-causing free radicals
- full of important peptides, hyaluronic acid, and growth factors
Skin concerns commonly treated include:
- dark spots (sun spots, age spots, keratosis)
- lines and wrinkles (minimal to deep)
- Melasma (darkening of portions of skin related to pregnancy or other skin conditions)
- Rosacea (skin redness and inflammation)
- Sun damage
- Acne Scars
The human body is always producing more skin, the outer layer of skin is called the epidermis.
The epidermis is composed of dead skin cells. As new cells are created, the old dead skin cells fall away, or at least they’re supposed to… Often times, without treatment, these dead skin cells can block pores resulting in pimples, pustules, enlarged pores, rashes, bumps or other imperfections. Over years, this effect can be cumulative and the results can be very noticeable. Especially, without makeup…
Routine facial treatments remove the dead skin cells (and hair) that accumulates on your face while doing life. Warm towels and steam baths are used to relax pores to release toxins, black heads, and other impurities. The skin is bathed with high quality, safe (and gently) cleansers and exfoliators to re-invigorate the skin down deep, where it counts. Peptides, growth factors, and cancer fighting (anti-oxidants) are used to treat this open and vulnerable skin (getting more absorption than you can do at home.)
Take care of your face. The world interacts with our face, it’s our calling card, some may even say our identity. Take care of it. We’re here to help.
